Why use a Game Plan?
Most traders skip preparation and jump straight into the market. The ones who build consistency treat their trading day like an athlete treats game day — with a warmup, a plan, and a review. The Game Plan captures structured data about your state before you trade (sleep, energy, emotions) and connects it to your execution after you trade (Align Score, mistakes, emotional patterns). Over time, this data reveals which conditions lead to your best and worst trading. How it works
Pre-Session
Complete a 60-second readiness check before you trade. Rate your sleep, energy, and emotional state. Acknowledge your session commitments. Get a readiness score.
Post-Session
After trading, end your session and see a full execution breakdown — per-trade scores, mistake patterns, emotional shifts, and whether you honored your commitments.
The flow
- Open Game Plan from the sidebar before your trading session
- Complete the readiness check — sleep, energy, emotions, playbook selection, session commitment
- Review your readiness score — green (ready), yellow (caution), or red (consider sitting out)
- Start your session — timestamps the beginning of your trading day
- Trade and log entries in the Journal as usual
- End your session — answer how you feel, then see your full execution review
