The AI Coach is your personal trading coach inside TradeAlign. It reads your real history — your TradeAlign Score, playbook adherence, emotions, and mistake tags — and helps you fix what’s holding your execution back. It coaches your process, not the market.
The AI Coach is a Pro feature. Free accounts see a preview with the option to upgrade.

What it does

Conversational coaching

Ask focused questions about your trading and get specific, data-grounded answers — then follow up to go deeper.

Daily Recap

An end-of-day read on today’s session — how you executed, whether it matched your Game Plan readiness, and one thing to carry into tomorrow.

Weekly Recap

A synthesis of your week — Align Score trend, the standout behavioral pattern, a disciplined win to reinforce, and one focus for next week.

Playbook Audit

A rule-by-rule look at how consistently you actually follow your active playbook, and the one breach costing you most.
The coach keeps running notes on your goals, the patterns it observes, and the commitments you make — so it sounds like it already knows you. The Daily Recap, Weekly Recap, and Playbook Audit each render as a clean, sectioned report card.

Getting set up

The first time you open the AI Coach, you’ll answer a few quick questions so it can coach you like it already knows your game:
1

What you trade

Your instruments (e.g. NQ, ES, MES).
2

Experience

How long you’ve been trading.
3

Recurring struggles

Select all that apply — FOMO, revenge trading, early exits, overtrading, and more.
4

Your goals

Add up to three goals, most important first. One is enough to start.
5

Choose your coach

Pick the coaching style that fits you (see Coaching styles).

Coaching styles

Choose the personality that will actually get through to you. All three hold the same line on discipline — they differ only in tone. You can change your style anytime — see Editing your setup.

Daily conversations

Coaching is built around conversations, not single questions.
  • You get 3 conversations per day. Starting a new topic uses one.
  • Follow-up questions within a conversation are free — keep going as deep as you need.
  • A small pill shows how many conversations you have left today. It resets daily.
  • Pick a starter prompt or type your own question to begin.
Use the coach after you’ve logged all your trades for the day. The analysis is only as good as your complete, reviewed data — make sure your trades are marked as reviewed so the coach can see your Align Score.
The Daily Recap, Weekly Recap, and Playbook Audit do not count against your 3 daily conversations. Each can be generated once per day — but the result is saved, so you can re-open today’s report as many times as you like for free (the button switches to “View today’s…”). A fresh run is available again the next day.

What the coach will and won’t do

It will

Diagnose recurring patterns, name them honestly, and give you one concrete adjustment at a time — always grounded in your own data.

It won't

Predict the market, give trade signals or entry/exit calls, or promise profits. It coaches how you execute your plan.
If the data needed to answer isn’t there, the coach tells you what to log rather than inventing numbers. It also stays on trading topics — off-topic questions are redirected and don’t use a conversation.

Editing your setup

As your trading evolves, keep your coach current. Open the AI Coach and select Edit setup to:
  • Switch coaching style (for example, if the Drill Sergeant isn’t for you)
  • Update your struggles
  • Refresh your goals
Your existing coaching history and the notes the coach has built about you are kept — only your answers change.

Starting over

If you’d rather wipe the slate clean, Edit setup also has a Start over option (tap the info icon next to it for details).
Starting over wipes your coach’s memory and deletes your past coaching conversations, then takes you back through setup from scratch. Your trades, journal, playbooks, and stats are not affected. This can’t be undone.
You’re set. Open the AI Coach, pick a starter like “What’s my biggest recurring mistake?”, and start a conversation.
